The house was built by a contractor for Prof. H. B. Fehner around 1928. He lived here until his retirement (in the early 1940s?).

Then this house was occupied by the family of L.G. Bickel from [year?] to 1956.

Then this house was occupied by the family of Herb Meyer from about 1956 to 1963.

Then this house was occupied by the Duensing family from about 1963 to 1967.

Then this was occupied by the family of Professor Jerrald Pfabe from 1967 to the present. They rented from the college until 1989, when they bought it.
